you sound like you're from london!

A week into England and I have finally got around to uploading some photos and writing a bit of a blog. The photos you are about to see are of a day we spent in a town called Bath, Gloucester Cathedral (where some of Harry Potter was filmed!!) and some are of London and the Tower of London. To celebrate Tom and I being together for FOUR years we decided to find a hotel in London and see some sights and do some shopping! We managed to book this awesome 5 star hotel for cheap as chips! Unfortunately the whole time the weather was crap and it rained which made walking and seeing sights hard. We were able to see the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels and we drove through Piccadilly and saw Buckingham Palace - but are definitely planning to go back and take photos and get a closer look next time when the weather is better! There is so much to see! Tom has got back into fishing by Harescombe pond and Ella and I have been visiting the local malls. France on Friday. CANT WAIT!

Hi Everyone, sorry about the delay! We arrived in the UK safely yesterday after a bit of a rush. Our bus from NY to Boston was more than an hour late and we arrived in peak hour traffic to try and get to the airport - to then find out our flight was delayed by two hours! There was a storm and lightning struck the plane and we ended up having no in-flight entertainment (TV-LESS!!) which sucked.

But anyway. New York was amazing, we saw as much as we could in the two and a half days we were there and our hotel (although it was a matchbox) was SO close to everything and pretty decent - we would definitely stay there again. We were able to just walk to 5th ave which was a few blocks away along with times square and central park and taxiing was not toooo expensive and saved us alot of time compared to fussing over the subway.

We saw Russell Brand (Actor/comedian/engaged to Katy Perry) while we were in a taxi so no photos sorry! We attempted to do the statue of liberty and even bought tickets when we found out the line was SOO long, about a two hour wait to get on the ferry and the summer heat was unbearable - we decided to come back later. We came back at four to find out it closed at 3.30pm and were gutted.

Two nights in a row we went to this Japanese Barbeque restaurant which was AMAZING and they bring out raw meat and you cook it yourselves and they had two dollar beers which tom liked and it was great! The second night we met up with Mariska and her boyfriend Ash and we took them there. Afterwards we went up the Rockefeller Center which has a lookout across the city which was beautiful.

England is freezing. I thought it would be coldish for summer but so far I have been in jeans and jacket only and it has rained. Toms country house is really cute. We are trying to recover from the jetlag which has finally hit us and we managed to sleep in until 1pm this morning/afternoon. The internet is not as fast as america so uploading photos is still quite slow.

Hope you enjoy the them anyway :)
